On Sunday 5 October 2024, the Gewerbeverein Waxweiler und Umgebung e.V. is organising the traditional Eifel farmers' market at the "Gateway to the Southern Eifel" for the 31st time. The market - a meeting place for young and old - offers tradespeople, service providers and other companies from Waxweiler and the surrounding area the opportunity to exhibit and sell their products.

The farmers' market begins at 11.00 a.m. with High Mass in the parish church of St John the Baptist. The service will be accompanied by the Prümtalchor Waxweiler.

• Devonium and small Roman museum open from 12.00 noon
• Coffee and cake in the cellar of the Haus des Gastes
• Food and beer stand, coffee and cake in the Bahnhofstraße and traditional lunch at the Dechant-Faber-Haus
