The Eifelverein Daleiden-Dasburg offers the well-known and popular mulled wine hike between the holidays at the end of the year.
The meeting point is at 1.00 pm in Dahnen at the village community centre. The hiking route is 6 kilometres long and can be described as easy. From here, the hike starts with a later stop at the mulled wine stand, where other drinks are also available. (For all mulled wine drinkers, please bring a cup or mug) The route is suitable for pushchairs, but you will need to muster a little strength for the slight incline. A hearty meal (smoked pork, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes) will be served at the end of the walk in the town hall in Dahnen for €20.00. Children under the age of 12 are invited and will receive a free meal. Drinks will be provided by the Dahnen local council.
